Water Features

ST Controls has delivered control systems for a wide range of iconic water features across the UK, showcasing both technical expertise and long-term reliability. Notable projects include the dramatic displays at The Alnwick Garden, the contemporary installations at Riverlight, the much-loved Floozie in the Jacuzzi fountain, the vibrant water feature in Williamson Square, and the striking development at One Tower Bridge. Among these, The Alnwick Garden stands out as the largest water feature of its kind in the UK and was one of ST Controls’ first major projects over 20 years ago. Its continued operation today is a testament to the quality, durability, and forward-thinking design that defines every system delivered by ST Controls.

Agriculture

 

ST Controls has extensive experience delivering advanced control systems for agricultural irrigation, supporting efficient and reliable water management across a wide range of environments. Our work includes control systems for large-scale spray irrigation, precision drip systems, and sprinkler networks, all designed to optimise performance while conserving resources. We also provide robust control solutions for pumps and associated infrastructure, ensuring consistent pressure, flow, and system responsiveness in demanding agricultural settings.

Beyond irrigation, we’ve supported broader automation within horticulture, including vent operation controls for polytunnels and greenhouses to maintain ideal growing conditions. Our capabilities also extend to full electrical installations—running cabling, designing and building control panels, and integrating systems for automated production environments. A key example is our work with Les Hallman Nurseries, where we delivered tailored solutions to support efficient, large-scale horticultural operations.
